Formally 098 Productions & Design
US Taido Association is a martial arts school that practices an Okinawan style of martial art called, Taido. Taido's branding revolves around a merge of Japanese and American style and symbolism.
Periodically, I update the official Taido Emblem in conjunction with the school's director. The oldest version was how the emblem looked when I joined and the newest is the most recent version as of 2024.
Currently the school uses all eagle designs. I designed the upgraded eagle designs.
To boost student moral, two flag designs were created. The red flag represents the school as a whole while the black flag represents the schools' Black Belt Society. These flags are brought to every major event the school hosts to represent the student body.
These are the rug designs that lay upon the tile floors around the work out mat and by the doors.
Starting in 2022, we started to provide annual holiday ornaments for students to decorate their trees.
The patch on the right is the designated patch for all student uniforms. The patch on the left (Top Gun) is a patch used by students specifically invited into the Top Gun class. A class for the best of the best.
US Taido Karate has many sister schools. I designed MSU Taido's patch for their students.
Tech Taido asked me to design a blanket as a gift to the instructors.
UGA Taido asked me to design a promotional image for their social media pages.
Every year, US Taido hosts a National Tournament. I design both the poster and the certificate design for this event.
Samurai Santa is an event to entertain the kids for the holidays. The picture of samurai zodiac animals are given to the kids as a gift from the school.

JP Video & Graphic Design is a personal brand I designed for myself.
For the icon design, I used the winsome font for its more script like feel. My personal style tends to be bold but elegant and I felt that the winsome font captured that best
Icon Logo Design
This design pays homage to my two other personal logo designs.
I chose a circular design to match the more circular nature of my other logos.
The inner half rings were added to represent my 098 Productions & Design logo.
The three sets of three dots around the outside was added to represent my 098 Designs logo.
Then I've subtly placed 098 within the three sets of dots to pay homage to my '098' in all of my personal logo designs.

For the full logo presentation logos, I've designed both a vertical and a horizontal look for flexibility of use. To complement the winsome font of the icon, the 'Video & Graphic Design' uses the lato font. As I was researching fonts, I found that these two font choices complimented each other and kept that bold but elegant look that I was going for.
