FULL PRESENTATION DESIGN
This logo was designed for a therapist specializing in aiding children. A specific request for the design was to include leaves or some form of nature as a center point for the design.
THEME: Hope, Growth, Healing
We chose the final icon design for a couple of reasons. The shape of the leaves represented the letter 'C' which is the same as the company's name. Then the flow of worn and withered to a full green healthy leaf was the primary message the client wished to send to her clients. Than they can heal and grow.
ICON DESIGN
Below are some of the drafts made for the client. We experimented with various looks in the beginning and while we liked the one with leaves, we pivoted towards a pastel color pallet. This was to soften the design to convey a gentleness for those who were healing. Once we settled on a more finalized design, we experimented with the logo's themes and lettering placement. The thematic words were removed from the final design as we thought the icon design was self explanatory enough.
FULL PRESENTATION DESIGN
The client for this logo was looking for a rebrand. She'd been a family lawyer for several a while and was about to partner with another firm. She was looking for a new logo that felt more modern and complimented the partnered firm.
THEME: Bridge Between Families
The client requested that the theme's imagery was to remain abstract.
It was important to the client that there was a bridge in the symbolism as she dealt with a lot of families who were torn apart at the seams. Her business was to act as a bridge to try and mend the troubles they faced.
This project was a fun self-driven project with a goal to develop a visual brand from scratch. I used the Chinese lantern plant as my base for the visual design. I review this more thoroughly in the Branding Section of my portfolio, but here you can see the various logos.
I developed two variants of the Full Presentation logo for flexibility of use along with multiple alternate and responsive logo presentations for either branded boxes or bakery branded items.
I chose various orange & orange-reds as my primary colors choice as it was not only the natural colors of the plant it was based off of but these colors are normally associated with foods. The logo encapsulates a more modernized look as I envisioned this place attracting a younger crowd.
This logo was designed to help bolster a financial client's proposal for a hypothetical extension of the company. Each color represented a different branch within the proposed program.
After many experimentations, two versions were created to fit both a light and dark background setting.
Specifically in the grey portion of the lettering. A lighter grey was used to help the lettering pop off the darker background.
